Actor Rico Yan died on March 29, 2002 due to hemorrhagic pancreatitis while on vacation at Dos Palmas Resort in Palawan. Yet his words live on in his notes to former girlfriend Claudine Barretto, who posted two old “love” notes from Rico on her Instagram account on Sunday, January 3, and Monday, January 4. In her captions on the two posts, the actress said she had posted these notes to make her former boyfriend’s fans happy.
In 2006, Claudine married actor Raymart Santiago but they separated in 2013 after she accused him of physical violence. The actress is currently on her showbiz comeback when she starred in “Etiquette for Mistresses” with Kris Aquino, Kim Chiu, Iza Calzado, and Cheena Crab.
