The 2016 Bb. Pilipinas pageant is now proving to be controversial as the Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Incorporated (BPCI) disqualified Janelle Olafson, formerly candidate number one allegedly over a photo that shows the aspiring beauty queen half-naked, with her arms covering her breast.
Olafson told ABS-CBN’s news program “Bandila” that the photo was for a breast cancer advocacy campaign she did in the past. Her disqualification came after BPCI also booted out Kim Ross delos Santos from the competition reportedly for the same reason.
The BPCI has not issued a statement yet on the issue.
