Talented students from across Manitoba will shared the spotlight with Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra (WSO) musicians at the Rising Stars Concert on Friday, February 11 at the Centennial Concert Hall.
Rising Stars will featured over 400 student singers and musicians in Grades 9 to 12 from schools across the province. The concert, put on by the WSO’s Education & Outreach department, was created to bring together and showcase Manitoba’s aspiring musicians with their professional idols. The students will not only have the opportunity to meet their idols, but also perform alongside them.
Filipino students were from Garden City Collegiate and West Kildonan Collegiate.
