Actress Angel Locsin offered cash assistance to the victims of typhoon Rolly that recently hit the Philippines. She gave away P1000 cash to benefit 1000 victims in need. In a Twitter post, Locsin shared the initiative:
Typhoon Rolly Assistance Initiative will be extended until tomorrow. Nov. 4, 2020. We understand that a lot of areas still don’t have electricity and no means of communication. Keep safe #RollyPH https://t.co/pSnOYLU1fl
Recipients should have a GCash account, a video sharing their situation that should be sent as private message to the initiative’s FB page.
Meanwhile, Ms Universe Phillippines winners Rabiya Mateo (Ms Universe Phil), Ysabella Ysmael (1st runner-up), Michele Gumabao (2nd runner-up), Pauline Amelinckx (3rd runner-up), at Billie Hakenson (4th runner-up with Miss Albay Paula Madarieta Ortega, repacked thousands of sack of rice and canned goods that will benefit victims of typhoon Rolly in the hard hit Bicol Region.
Fans were happy to see the winners together in a worthwhile initiative despite the controversies that allegedly happen in the pageant.
