Over 200 participants from local Winnipeg Couples for Christ chapters took part in the annual ANCOP Walk (formerly ANCOP/GK Walk) at Assiniboine Park. The annual event provides the necessary funding to help to build homes for the poorest of the poor throughout third world countries.
ANCOP International Canada is a Christian registered non-profit charitable Canadian organization. ANCOP is an acronym for ANswering the Cry Of the Poor. Their work started in the Philippines in the year 2000, through the GK program. To date, ANCOP has built more than 2,500 homes and provided educational assistance to our over a thousand children.
