Ancop Winnipeg, in 2013 made great strides in its events to raise funds for the poorest of the poor with the help of key supporters who over the years have responded to the cry of the poor. The successful staging of the 2013 ANCOP Walk raised $48,000 which could have not been possible without the support of key and local organizations, advocates and major sponsors namely, Mr. Larry Vickar of Vickar Automomotive Group, Dr. Tom Colina of Pearl Family Dental Care and Ellice Dental Group, Mr. James Kurz of Scotia Bank , Ms. Sophie Cruz of IREMIT, C & K Music and Tim Hortons of Ancop Canada cause by donating $25,000.00 through the Jewish Foundation of Manitoba for the programs in Vickar Rotary Portview Village in Camiguin Island, Southern Philippines. The Village was started in 2010 as advocated by Larry Vickar, Dr Tom Colina and with the support of CFC members, friends & relatives, funds were raised then for the Child Education and Shelter programs of the village. Larry and Tova Vickar and Wpg Transcona Rotary’s donation of $15,000 funded 30 Ancop houses and child education at Vickar Rotary Portview Village. ANCOP Canada through Ancop Winnipeg would like to thank Larry & Tova Vickar, Transcona Rotary Club, all their friends , relatives, organizations, business establishments and partners who contributed the donations and efforts to make this happen.
