Favourite Filipino Dish: My favourite Filipino dish would be Sinigang 🙂
Why I decided to participate: I’ve decided to take this opportunity to voice out my wisdom and knowledge, to try and influence our youth today and lead them to a good path. I believe that one can make a difference without being neglected. I also wanted to involve myself in the Filipino community more and be proud of my nationality and culture.

Why I decided to participate: I decide to participate because I want to share what Filipinos has to offer to other nations with culture and festivities that we have.

Why I decided to participate: I joined this pageant to make my parents happy. My dad’s bday wish isfor me to become a beauty queen before I get married. And the best part since they are my parents, they believed that I have the looks, the brain and talent to prove to everyone that I can be The Queen of MFSF 2014. 🙂

Why I decided to participate: I was invited to join by and represent the Association of Caviteños in Manitoba. I’ve always been part of the student government making events like this pageant happen, now I want to give myself a chance to be part of the stage. I want to prove to myself that I still keep the Filipino spirit not only by living it but also through sharing our culture and promoting it to our fellow Filipinos and to other nationalities.

Why I decided to participate: I was asked by MIPS -Winnipeg Batangueno Cad Comm Assoc.It was not until, I shared my excitement with my students was where I really began to comprehend what I was really in. I realized through their excitement, I was not only representing the Winnipeg Batangueno Community, but my students as well. I finally understood that I am not only a young Filipina role model in the classroom, but in the community as well.
