The Manitoba Filipino Business Council held its first-ever MFBC Trade Show on Saturday, Nov. 3 at Petrus Hall. The free event invited Manitobans from all communities to learn more about starting their own business and how to enhance their existing business operations. Over 30 exhibitors and 200 attendees met to develop new relationships with vendors, mentors and community partners.
The trade show program included the following speakers: Derek Earl, World Trade Centre Winnipeg and Ron Cantiveros, Hot Rod’s Filipino Grill (Cantiveros Family Foods). CBC Manitoba’s Marjorie Dowhos, host of Radio Noon on CBC Radio One 89.3 FM / 990 AM lead a Small Business panel with Jackie Wild (Delight Digital), Paulo Castillo (Architects at Play), Jesse Cauguiran-Alcasabas (Be.YOU.tiful Skin & Body Clinic), Justin Merluza (Just_in Couture) and Dale Voluntad (RBC).
