Kapuso actress Yasmien Kurdi found out out early this year that she has a cyst on her vocal chords.
The ailment manifested itself when Yasmien started losing of her voice after performing at the Kapuso New Year’s Countdown this 2014. The doctor’s advice is for her to undergo an operation but without assurance that she will regain her voice.
Yasmien made her successful showbiz comeback in 2010 when she was given a series of projects, including “Grazilda,” “Amaya,” “Legacy,” and “Anna Karenina.” She is currently doing “Rhodora X.”
Yasmien thanked her family, friends, and fans who continue to support and inspire her despite her condition.
