Actress Winwyn Marquez has just announced that she is officially joining the Miss World Philippines 2017 beauty pageant.
The 25-year-old Kapuso actress has previously joined Binibining Pilipinas in 2015 and managed a top 15 finish. She won the special awards for Best in National Costume, the “She’s So Jag” special award and Best in Talent. She is the daughter of actors Joey Marquez and Alma Moreno. Her aunt Melanie Marquez was the Miss International title holder back in 1979. The Miss World Philippines 2017 has been scheduled for September 3 at the Mall of Asia Arena and will be telecast live via GMA 7.
