The much-anticipated grand opening of Outlet Collection Winnipeg on Wednesday attracted a eager shoppers looking for deals and free gift cards. Over 2000 shoppers braved the overnight rain to shop in the new mall. Filipino Journal readers were excited and anxious to track down deals all day as they toured and shopped during the grand opening day celebrations.
The line of early bird shoppers converged around Outlet Collection Winnipeg as early as midnight and with some bringing sleeping bags. The mall offered the first 1000 customers with a complimentary $30 gift card and redeemable at over 100 retail merchants in the mall.
