One of the frontline workers is Aleli Carandang who is also one of the 204 Filipino Marketplace Facebook group administrators, a social media group where 40k Filipino Manitobans are connected. As a registered nurse who is armed with expert knowledge in health and safety, she was instrumental in making the social media group the source of timely, useful and credible information as the Filipino community in our province fights the pandemic.
