Festive Christmas celebration is hosted by the QPAM Youth
QPAM Paskuhang Pasasalamat 2016, the annual Christmas Party of the Quezon Province Association of Manitoba, was held recently at the Filipino Seniors Hall under the program management of the Youth arm of the Association.
Emceed by the two young promising QPAM members, namely, Justin Conchada and Hannah Chan Urbano, the family oriented Christmas party was attended by family members and some special guests who participated in the various games and activities.
With the presence of Santa Claus (Oly Merluza) the children, the youth and even the adults had enjoyed the company as they received gifts donated by QPAM Youth, Filipino Journal/Ron Cantiveros, Le Kim, Kim Vit Travel, Sonny Puache, Federico Hinanay, KIMVY Fashion-VyVy Nguyen, Sarbit Travel and Insurance, Farmking, Vickar Chevrolet, Mr. & Mrs. Rowena Lopez Arquero and Mario Arquero, Normita Cymbalisty, and Nelson Nonie Manalili.
“This is a very blissful celebration for all the families and guests and by the presence of Santa Claus, gift giving is a greatest tradition of sharing and giving; and I have to thank our QPAM Youth members who are responsible hosting this Christmas party and also to all our gift sponsors who are always willing to participate by giving joy to everyone, especially the Children,” said Maggie Chan Urbano, president of QPAM.
Part of the celebration is the selection of scholars for 2017 and the winning Quezon Town, namely, Alabat and Lucena, where the scholars will be selected. For the next scholarship grant, the money is intended for a short technical courses.
