With the special guests from Unisan, Quezon and the incoming Santacruzan and Pahiyas 2017, the officers and members of Quezon Province Association of Manitoba held their monthly meeting at the newly-opened Hot Rod Grill, at Vickar Ford, 2000 Main St. and Templeton, across from Kildonan Park and Golf Course.
Led by Maggie Chan-Urbano, QPAM welcomed Atty. Melojean M. Puache, Provincial Assessor at Quezon Provincial Dept in Lucena and Tita Way of Unisan Quezon. A certificate of appreciation was given to Melojean M. Puache being in charge of the QPAM scholarship selection committee. She will coordinate with the selection of two scholars who take related skill courses at TESDA in collaboration with Mr. Sonny Puache, QPAM Scholarship Chairperson. These two scholars will be coming from Lucena and Alabat.
“This is our appreciation to Atty. Puache who is responsible in the selection of our scholars from Lucena and Alabat.Through her cooperation and commitment, our scholarship program this year will be fully administered,”said Maggie Chan Urbano, QPAM president, QPAM officers and members had discussed the ways and means to make Santacruzan and Pahiyas 2017 as another successful year. Various committee responsibilities were discussed and encouraged more people to join the colourful May clebration.
And everybody enjoyed the food served at Hot Rod Grill.
