QPAM recently celebrated its 2010 QPAM Get Together & Christmas Party on December 11, 2010, Saturday at the Filipino Seniors Hall, 49 Euclid Avenue.
The event focused on making sure that the old and new members be given an opportunity to mingle and network with each other. It had its usual flair of fun-filled activities like the kids and adult games, the ever-popular Santa’s gift-giving portion, and a team building activity was added to help determine the Association’s direction for the coming years.
During the event, Quezonians from the town of Agdangan had the most attendees and was awarded the opportunity and responsibility to identify a recipient for the scholarship grant planned for 2011.
The event would not have been possible if not for the efforts and dedication of its active membership and the current officers who steer it. The current officers are Maggie Chan-Urbano as President, Edwin Azores as VP for Internal Affairs, Milnida Aquino as VP for External Affairs, Mavic Regis as Treasurer, Alice Codamon as Asst. Treasurer, Norman Padilla as Secretary, Eddie Revilla as Asst. Secretary, Donna Habito & Leo Blanco as Auditors, Don Cymbalisty & Candy Padilla as P.R.O., Michael Lim & Emman Huesca as Sgt @ Arms, and Reybert Calubayan, Christy Andrade, Glenda (Mameth) Relis & Rowena Arquero as District Representatives with Allan Zoleta as Adviser.
