Five singing heartthrobs were put together by judges and super fans in a group called BoybandPH after the talent-reality search for the Pinoy Boyband Superstar ended on December 11.
The first who earned the spot on the first night was Niel Murillo after earning the highest combined scores. On the final night, Russell Reyes, Ford Valencia, Tristan Ramirez and Joao Constancia were declared winners. The winners received P1M cash each, a Yamaha motorcycle, an exclusive contract with ABS-CBN’s talent development arm Star Magic and a recording contract with ABS-CBN’s online music hub One Music PH. The members of the newly formed BoybandPH performed at the end of the show their first single that is aptly titled We Made It.
Seven heartthrobs made it to the finals including Mark Oblea and Tony Labrusca who did not make it to the Top 5.
