The Philippine teams of Eric and Rona Tai and Maggie Wilson and Parul Shah are ready for back-to-back wins in AXN’s “The Amazing Race Asia” after eight tough legs.
In the ninth episode of the competition, both Eric and Rona and Maggie and Parul have eliminated their biggest threat, Indonesia’s Treasuri and Louisa, now only needs to contend with Malaysia’s Yvonne and Chloe as all three teams advances to the race’s finale on December 15.
Eric, also known as Eruption, first became known as a member of the Philippine Volcanoes rugby team and later joined ABS-CBN’s “It’s Showtime,” as one of the hosts. He married his wife Rona for the second time this year. On the other hand, beauty queens Maggie and Parul hopes to eliminate the stigma that there’s little more to beauty queens other than good looks.
