Two days after she finished in the top 10 of Miss Globe 2016 finals in Tirana Albania, Miss Philippines Nichole Manalo placed third runner-up.
According to the pageant organizers, the host forgot to announce the names of the two runners-up—Philippines and South Africa—during the finals last Friday night, November 25 (November 26 in the Philippines). Pageant fans around the world were shocked and surprised by another contest error. The winners include Miss Globe 2016 Dimple Patel (India), 1st Runner-up Yenny Carillo (Colombia), 2nd Runner-up Katrina Skurra (Albania), 3rd Runner-up Nichole Manalo (Philippines), and 4th Runner-up Natasha Joubert (South Africa).
Manalo received a crown and certificates and won Dream Girl of the World from the pageant. The twenty-six year old beauty queen is a registered nurse and younger sister of actress and former Miss Philippines Universe Bianca Manalo.
