Currently serving as the Ambassador of the Philippines in Ankara, Turkey, Pedro O. Chan will serve as the newest Consul General at the Philippine Consulate in Toronto. ConGen Chan will return to Canada after 14 years since serving as the former Minister and Consul General in Ottawa (1996-98). As a foreign diplomat for the Philippine government for over 30 years, Consul General Chan’s former diplomatic posts include Milan, Italy; Stockholm, Sweden; Moscow, Russia; and Los Angeles and Honolulu, USA.
