PCCM Launches Kabayan Program and Services

The Philippine-Canadian Centre of Manitoba (PCCM) held its Info session for New Immigrants and launches The Kabayan Program and Services with Florencio Antonio and Norman Padilla as Chairman and Co-Chairman respectively in a welcome program held on October 22, 2011 Saturday from 1:00 to 5:00 pm at PCCM Hall in Keewatin Street.

Among the speakers include: Jorge Fernandez – Immigrant Centre, Lulu Miguel – Residential Tenancies Branch- Winnipeg, Sam Grande – Manitoba Civil Service Commission, Rey Olazo – Winnipeg Police Department, Kathleen Cook – Red Cross, Fidel Araneta – C.C.I. Cadpower Canada Inc. and brief messages from MLA Flor Marcelino, MLA Ted Marcelino and PCCM Adviser Lou Fernandez. Some political, religious and community leaders were also around to lend a support to the program.

Raffles, snacks and networking follow after the program that was emceed by Letty Antonio.PCCM President Lito Taruc thanks the officers, volunteers, sponsors, guests and the new immigrant participants for the success of the event.
