Another year reviewing pavilions meant another year full of great experiences. This Folklorama I was more focused on visiting pavilions I didn’t have a chance to see last year. I was glad I went to see and learn about new pavilions as I find each culture has something special to offer and share with the community. As for rating the Filipino pavilions, I thought both did a fantastic job in celebrating our culture. I’ll always think Filipino food, dance, and culture are tops in ratings.
Therefore, I decided to rate the other pavilions based on the ones I saw this year. My top three pavilions for food are the Croatia “Zagreb” pavilion , both Ukrainian pavilions were tied, and the Pavilion Canadien-Francais. My top three pavilions for entertainment are the Brazilian, Indochina Chinese, and Punjab pavilions. My top three pavilions overall are the DOTC First Nations, Punjab, and Croatia “Zagreb” pavilions.
