US President Donald Trump has personally indicated over the phone that he is coming to the Philippines later this year.
This was revealed by Malacañang protocols chief Ambassador Marciano Paynor saying the American leader is expected to attend the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) meeting in November. Paynor, who is involved in the organizing body for ASEAN events, said the main summit will be attended by other leaders from the region, as well as from neighboring countries such as South Korea and New Zealand.
