OPM artists pay tribute to Paris attack victims

Composer-conductor Ryan Cayabyab on Monday led Original Pilipino Music (OPM) artists in performing John Lennon’s “Imagine” as a tribute to the victims of the recent terrorist attacks in Paris.

Cayabyab was joined by Jim Paredes, Gerard Salonga, Audie Gemora, Chito Miranda, Ebe Dancel and Gloc 9, as well as the 60 participants attending the 6th Elements National Singing-Songwriting Camp at the Hacienda Isabella in Indang, Cavite. In the introduction for the performance, Paredes said that the song is dedicated to the people in Paris who are scared, who are suffering, and those who died. Cayabyab added that the tribute is also dedicated for those who suffered terrorism worldwide.
