On The Road

The Winnipeg Jets spent the first half of March on the road in an east coast 6-game road trip. Their first three wins came against the Carolina Hurricanes (3-2), a 3-0 shutout win against the New York Rangers and the New Jersey Devils. The last three games ended up as loses 2-1 against Philadelphia Flyers, a 3-2 overtime loss against the Washington capitals and closing out the road trip in Nashville 3-1. In the Jets lone goal against Nashville, Patrik Laine extends his points streak to 13-games, a franchise record.

The injury depleted Jets took on the Nashville Predators missing six top line players – Mark Scheifele, Paul Stastny, Adam Lowry, Toby Enstrom, Dmitry Kulikov, and Jacob Trouba. The Jets earn 7 out of 12 points on the road and remain 3rd in the Western Conference behind Nashville and Las Vegas.

The Jets return home battered and bruised and return to Bell MTS Place on March 15th to play the Chicago Blackhawks and a short 6-game homestand.
