Movies on the beach

RBC Cinema Under the Stars
One of Canada’s most unique film experiences!
Don’t miss the main attraction – it’s the 11 metre tall monster screen, native only to the waters of Lake Winnipeg, and only during Gimili Film Festival. Every night of the Festival, watch movies and documentaries from the beach, and marvel at the fun you’re having. As always, it is all ABSOLUTELY FREE at the RBC Cinema Under the Stars.

Shows start after sunset, but grab a good spot early. The marked-off area in front of the screen is the chair-free zone. If you bring a chair, make sure it’s low-profile as a courtesy to others. Mosquitoes are rare, but sometimes put in a cameo appearance, so be prepared. Beach blankets are always a good idea. Please respect the beach and keep it clean.
