The Manitoba Filipino Business Council celebrated its first anniversary at Spin Lounge along with it’s members, corporate sponsors and many friends, family and supporters. The year old Filipino business association has slowly been growing its membership since its inception over a year ago. The MFBC hosted a small reception to help commemorate their first year of success as the voice for Filipino businesses and entrepreneurs in Manitoba.
Amidst the celebration that night, MFBC members were engaged in fun networking games that involved beads and exchanging business cards. In addition, a special red carpet paparazzi wall was offered by MFBC newest media partner, AccessWinnipeg.com. Attendees at the first year gala celebration all received departing gift bags from all gala sponsors, including the beads that were won and exchanged during the evening-long networking games.
Over the several months throughout the summer, the MFBC board along with dedicated members and volunteers have been working hard behind the scenes that ensured the anniversary celebration was a successful and worthwhile event. Thank you to everyone that contributed to the evening’s success.
