The Office of the President through Communications Secretary Herminio Coloma Jr. congratulated Filipino-American writer/animator Ronnie Del Carmen for his achievement as co-director of Pixar’s “Inside Out.” The movie won the Best Animated Feature Film at the Academy Awards on Monday (February 29).
The 56-year-old Del Carmen hails from Cavite and has a degree of Bachelor of Fine Arts in Advertising from the University of Santo Tomas. His family migrated to the United States when he was 30 years old. He was with Pixar Animations Studio since 2000.
