The Officers and members of Life of Peg Association of Manitoba (LPAM) conducted SPORTSFEST last November 15, 2014 at TEC VOC High School Gym to strengthen good rapport among members by promoting healthy lifestyle through sports. It is a non profit organization with objective to connect newly landed immigrants and concerned Filipino-Canadian Citizens in Winnipeg and neighbouring towns of Manitoba. The LPAM Facebook Group is composed of 2,500 members. Though we strived so much during our first year of stay, it has been very fulfilling now as we are all happy settlers in our new-found friendly environment To strengthen family ties, we have managed to organize events like Easter Sunday Meet, Christmas parties and simple get-togethers.
