John Lloyd Cruz and Jennylyn Mercado will compete in the box office with James Reid and Nadine Lustre as their respective movies both hit theaters May 4 “Just The 3 Of Us” is John Lloyd’s first romantic movie with a leading woman from rival network GMA. This is also the first time Jennylyn is doing a movie with Star Cinema. Meanwhile, the movie “This Time,” is James and Nadine’s fourth movie together, and their first since announcing that they are a real-life couple.
The movie is produced by Viva Films.
During the press conference for their movie, James and Nadine both said they were surprised but at the same time said they considered it as healthy competition. For his part, John Lloyd said having the same movie dates means the movie industry is thriving.
