Actor James Reid has been officially chosen to play Pedro Penduko.
In the original comics character created by writer and illustrator Francisco Coching, Pedro Penduko is a superhero who fights evil forces using his magical amulet. In the new version, Pedro Penduko is now a wimpy teen named Peter Harris raised in the US by his adoptive father. The modern version aims to cater to the image of superheroes for the present-day audience. The other actor who has played the original character is Janno Gibbs in 1994 and 2000 adaptations.
