Actress Iza Calzado can now go home after a new test result shows that she no longer has the novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
Her manager Noel Ferrer thanked everyone for the prayers. Ferrer also thanked frontliners who risked their lives to attend to patients like Iza. The Kapamilya actress is the second Filipino celebrity to have been infected with COVID-19 after actor Christopher de Leon.
Veteran actor Menggie Cobarrubias recently succumbed to pneumonia. Test results released 5 days after his death revealed that the late actor was positive for coronavirus.
