Sen. Teofisto “TG” Guingona III is advocating “Team Philippines,” to start unifying the Filipinos people after the political fever dies down.
Guingona said the people should support all winners in the May 9 national and local elections as a first step towards putting the country in order and healing the wounds resulting from the election campaigns. Speaking before Manila Bulletin’s (MB) editors at MB’s head office in Intramuros, Manila, Guingona revealed that he got the idea from former President Fidel V. Ramos. The Liberal Party senatorial bet added that if re-elected, he will continue his anti-corruption crusade, address the problems in the country’s healthcare system, work towards the attainment of final and lasting peace, and put dignity in the living condition of the people.
