Winnipeg’s Filipino entertainment scene has really been exciting for the past few years. We are being treated regularly with a slew of artists, both Philippine-based and local. In the recent months, the city was graced by the likes of Cooky Chua and Edwin Vergara (Color It Red), Dodong Cruz (The Youth), Eric Gancio (Yano), Grin Department.
In the coming days, another string of concerts are forthcoming, which include the following:

October 5 (Friday) – Garrick Centre – Kamikazee (with The 12/21)
October 13 (Saturday) – Fundraiser for Rufinina Tabaranza’s Second Heart Operation – Essence Bar at Canad Inns at McPhillips – TROPA, Basement 315, Humous
October 28 (Sunday) – Club Regent Event Centre – David Pomeranz with Nina & Joey G (Side A)
