Folklorama welcomed 447,000 visits to 45 pavilions this year, a three-year high for attendance, as the festival celebrated being named the 2009 Event of the Year by the Tourism Industry Association of Canada. The festival also experienced a record high of 122 group tours, including eight new late night tours. Over two weeks, photographers from the Filipino Journal traveled to most of the 45 pavilions during the two week cultural celebration. Here are some photos from our cultural adventures.
