Manitoba NDP formally appointed Flor Marcelino as the new interim leader on Saturday, May 7. The new role as interim leader comes from Greg Selinger’s resignation announcement during last month’s devastating election loss.
Marcelino has represented the riding of Logan as an MLA since 2007.
The Manitoba NDP hold14 seats in the Legislature after holding a majority government for over 16 years.
