The presence of a Filipino Santa Claus, the gifts consisted of a Christmas tree, lights and ornaments, and t-shirts and hoodies from the Filipino Journal. Two pallets worth of rice, groceries and goodies from Lucky Supermarket, hats and car accessories from Larry and Tova Vickar of Vickar Automotive Group, and special gifts from MTS, RBC, Desjardins Financial, and the food from Canton Food Gallery, and bread from Cuevas Bakery. Also part of the festivities included the entertainment, contests and games joyfully executed by Paskuhan 2014 event coordinators, MYXZ Images, the 2014 Filipino Paskuhan is considered the happiest Christmas celebration for the new immigrants who will be experiencing their 1st Christmas, since their arrivals this year!
The young and old alike, more than 250 guests, enjoyed every moment of the Christmas celebration. And the Melo’s Balloons, an added Christmas ambience; and the DJ Mike and RSM Entertainment and the music, filtered Christmas songs; and the special Christmas Songs performed by multi-talented Koro Bulakenyo, the Ambassadors of Goodwill for Music of the Province of Bulacan.
The smiles, the happy faces, and the joys of giving and receiving rituals define the very meaning of Christmas, Filipino Journal style.
