A 21 year old stunner from Muntinlupa City was crowned as the 2011 Miss-World -Philippines on Sept. 18 at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) plenary hall in Manila.
Filipino-French beauty Gwendolyn Ruais also won a Condo Unit from SM Development Corporation, P1 Million cash, and a GMA Artist Center Management Contract.
Gwendolyn will represent the Philippines in the 61st edition of the Miss World pageant to be held on November 6, 2011 at the Earls Court Exhibition Center in London, England on November 6, 2011.
Declared runners up in the pageant were Helen Nicolette Henson (first princess),? Martha Chloe McCully (second princess), Ma. Paula Bianca Paz (third princess), and Jaysel Arrozal (fourth princess).
The board of judges included GMA-7 executive Wilma Galvante, actress Iza Calzado, beauty expert Fanny Serrano, cosmetic surgeon Vicki Belo, and boxing champ Sarangani Rep. Manny Pacquiao.
Reigning Miss World Alexandria Mills also graced the event.
