Enchong Dee and Erich Gonzales recently bagged the 43rd Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation Box-Office Entertainment Awards trophy for Most Popular Love Team in Movies and Television.
The two young stars who were paired in the TV dramas “Katorse,” “Magkaribal,” and “Maria La Del Barrio,” as well as in the film, “I Do,” both expressed gratitude to their fans for continued support to their projects. Erich and Enchong also thank their supporters for respecting their individual personal life outside of the love team..
The young celebrities have so far gone separate ways project-wise, though Erich maintained that her friendship with Enchong remains firm even though they seldom see each other these days.
In a previous interview, Enchong admitted that he courted Erich before, but they both realized that it would be better if they just stay as friends for the sake of their careers.
Now Enchong has been vocal about his admiration for young actress Julia Montes, while Erich has admitted that she’s dating a non-showbiz guy.
