The Filipino-Canadians had a great time in Winkler, Manitoba when they participated in the Eastern Mosaic and Cultural Festival held last February 25, 2012 at the Parkland School Gymnasium in Winkler, Manitoba. Other participating countries aside from the Philippines include India, Korea, Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia and some other countries.
As part of the celebration are performances, dances, food samles and cultural booth and demonstrations by the representatives of the participating countries. The event went well with the Filipino participants and proudly sang the song “Ako Ay Pilipino”.
