Master in Public Management (MPM) and Master in Productivity and Quality Management (MPQM) students recently gathered at the DAP Conference Center in Tagaytay City for an academic fellowship organized by the Development Academy of the Philippines Graduate School of Public and Development Management (DAP-GSPDM).
Personnel from the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Command and General Staff College and the Presidential Security Group comprised the students taking the MPM in Development and Security. Those majoring in Health Systems and Development are physicians from the Department of Health (DoH)’s Doctors to the Barrio program.
Also participating were area managers of the Center for Agriculture and Rural Development Mutually Reinforcing Institutions (CARD MRI) taking MPQM major in Microfinance and students of the Executive Doctorate in Education Leadership.
The topics include Internal Peace and Security Plan: A Multi-Stakeholder Convergence for Development, National Security Policy, Integrating Health Sector Reform in Development, Good Governance for Sustainable Community Development,and Self-Sustaining Communities for Development.
The Roadmap for Philippine Development was also discussed to emphasize the crucial roles played by security, health, finance, leadership, and education in national growth.
