We’re fast approaching one year out from the 2017 Canada Summer Games! On July 28, 2016, join us for a free, family-friendly, interactive event as we count down to the arrival of the Games in 2017.
Open to the public with no cost to attend, Countdown to the Games: One Year to Go will feature a free concert series with talented local artists, including JP Hoe, Leonard Sumner, Kelly Bado, Dirty Catfish Brass Band, and DJ Mama Cutsworth.
Fourteen of the sixteen Canada Summer Games sports will be represented on-site, each hosting interactive games and activities throughout the evening. You’ll be able to test the speed of your pitch, perfect your rowing technique, and vie for soccer’s hardest kick, among other games. In addition to sport activations, you can catch the spirit of the Games at the official 2017 Canada Summer Games Gear merchandise tent and play games and take selfies with Niibin!
