Councilor Mike Pagtakhan supports Sai Baba Org. of Canada

The Office of Councilor Mike Pagtakhan is helping Sai Baba Organization of Canada in its various events In a world riddled with growing intolerance between individuals, groups, and religions, the value-based system of education Sathya Sai Baba introduced has a great vision. It stands as a beacon of hope, fervently chiseling and churning out students who aren’t just market-ready but also life-ready. Educare is based on the five cardinal values of “truth, righteousness, peace, love, and non-violence.”

Its founder—the great humanitarian and teacher Sathya Sai Baba—was born on November 23, 1926, in the small village of Puttaparthi in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India. He has also initiated a number of projects in India towards providing the much needed education, rural water projects, and health care to people who cannot afford it.

Implemented in more than 90 countries now, Educare is both revolutionary in concept and comprehensive in scope. What further sets it apart is its no-tuition-fee policy across the board from elementary-school to PhD- level programs.

There are over 99 Sathya Sai schools in India and 41 Sathya Sai schools overseas including the one in Toronto which was established in 2000. These schools provide education either for free or for a small amount. Institutes of Sathya Sai Education have been set up in Thailand, Mumbai, UK, Australia, Philippines, and Argentina. In 2010, Canadian Institute of Sathya Sai Education (CISSE) was launched.

The appeal of the program is evident in the enthusiasm with which educators and policymakers around the world are embracing it, rendering it a prototype worthy of emulation as an effective and viable solution for today’s crisis in education.

The system is available now in Winnipeg. For more information about it, feel free to get in touch with Sri Sathya Sai Baba Centre of Winnipeg, which conducts classes of Sai Education for children of ages 4 to 17 on Saturdays from 1 pm to 3 pm.
