Filipina international singer Charice doused cold water to speculations that she and singer David Archuleta of American Idol fame are making “beautiful music” together.
Rumors on the reported Charice-David secret romance were fuelled by their recent musical performances together that include a duet in a Christmas album. Fans also noted that the American singer has only praises for Charice’s talent and personality in his social networking account and even in media interviews.
For her part, the 18-year old Filipina singer said her priorities remain her singing career and studies. Although she is already of legal age to be in a relationship, she just considers Archuleta a good friend and a great artist. Asked by a fan during an interview if she thinks of special persons when performing a love song, she said it is normal for her to sing a love song with feelings even if she isn’t in love.
Charice is currently enrolled in Information Technology as an online student.
