Canadians will finally get the opportunity to cast their ballots on October 19.
Over 3.6million Canadians voted in advance polls during the four day advance pooling period that included Monday Thanksgiving Day. Compared to 2011 election advance voter turnout of 2.1 million, 2015 saw a 71% increase. Voters were greeted by long lines at some polling stations.
Election Day will be on Monday, October 19 and over 67,000 polling stations across Canada will be ready for voters.
