The shooting of “Bourne Legacy,” the fourth part of the Hollywood action thriller spy film “Bourne” series, will take place in different places of Metro Manila.
This was revealed by Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) chairman Francis Tolentino who said eight places have been already selected by the film’s production that include Marikina City Market, San Andres Market, Navotas Fishport, Ramon Magsaysay Blvd., Ayala Avenue, Nagtahan, Pasay Taft, Intramuros and Jones Bridge.
The Pasay Taft Rotonda has been selected as one of the locations for some of the movie’s car chase sequences.
Tolentino said the latest “Bourne” film will be filming in Manila for a month although he refused to confirm reports that shooting will start on January 14.
“The Bourne Legacy” stars Oscar-nominated actor Jeremy Renner (“The Hurt Locker”) as new CIA operative Aaron Cross and will be directed by Tony Gilroy.
