The 2016 Bb. Pilipinas Universe crown was won by 25-year-old interior designer Maxine Medina of Quezon City at the close of the coronation rites at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The 5’71/4″ Medina bested 39 other hopefuls vying for the title.
The other winners are 24-year-old Kylie Versoza of Baguio City, Bb. Pilipinas International; 20-year-old Jennifer Hammond of Laguna, Bb. Pilipinas Inter-Continental; 19-year-old Joanna Eden of Lucban, Bb. Pilipinas-Supranational; 23-year-old Nicole Cordoves of Manila, Bb. Pilipinas Grand International; and 26-year-old Nichole Manalo of Pampanga, Bb. Pilipinas Globe.
Completing the royal court are Angelica Alita (Oriental Mindoro) and Jehza Mae Huelar (Davao) who were proclaimed 1st and 2nd runners-up.
