The Benguet Ifugao Bontoc Apayao Kalinga (BIBAK) celebrated “AMMUNGAN AD MANITOBA” featuring CANAO, feast celebration presented annually to present the Mountain Province festival as a colour manifestation of their unique culture.
Through the presidency of Virgie Gayot and with the help of her officers and volunteers, the program went well especially the dance presentation by some members of the association.A pageantry of sounds and colours, the dancers and singers performed the rituals to the delight of the attendees and special guests. The performers invited the guests to join the dancing of the native dance through the music provded by the gongs. Every one was so excited to dance while the dancers guided them on to move their hands and bodies.
The current officers of BIBAK include Virgie Gayot, president; Marife Cadag, vice-president; Lily Ann T-e-m;secretary; Nida Abad; asst. secretary; Gigi Mestito, treasuer; Annnie Tabo-oy, auditor; and Wilson Lizardo, pro.
