The officers and members of the Association of Ilocanos in Manitoba (AIM) held a fund raising appreciation party recently at the Marlborough Hotel for the Winnipeg Children’s Foundation. Mario Rosario, the president of AIM, addressed the guests and elaborated the mission of AIM in helping the less fortunate in Winnipeg and in the Philippines. MP Kevin Lamoureux commended the works of the AIM in helping and sharing with others especially those poor people who have less in life. Larry Vickar, CEO and President of Vickar Automotive Group, extended his giving by donating $1,000 to the association’s mandate.
