May is the Month of the Asian Heritage, highlighting various activities for the whole month of May. Last May 23 and 24 respectively.
For the two-day celebrations at the Fork, various Asian associations and groups, and individual presented colourful dances, inspiring songs, martials arts and other talents.
May 23 Performers: X-Man – Flying Lion Dance Group, Manitoba Great Wall Performing Arts, Manitoba Great Wall Performing Arts, Punjabi Dance Group, Manitoba Kendo Club, Arnis Filipino Martial Arts School, Aurora Japanese Dance Group, Colours of Indonesia, India School of Dance, Shaolei Taichi Wushu Institute, Indian Band “Ullash”, Tiffany Ponce, Kelly Winnipeg Sikiran Arnis Academy, K-pop Dance Team (Team X-man), Tracma Canada, Flavors of India, Korean Traditional Instrument and Coffie Man.
May 24 Performers: Flying Lion Dance Group, Manitoba Great Wall Performing Arts, Manitoba Great Wall Performing Arts, Filipino Dance Group, Villamore Sikaran Martial Arts School, Confidence Building Martial Arts, Friendly Chinese Dance Association, Taichi Group “U Can Flow”, Tiffany Ponce, Sri Lankan Dance Group,Northern Ligt Drumming Company, Japanese Band “Bounce”, Friendly Chinese Dance Association, Kelly Winnipeg Sikaran Arnis Academy, K-pop Dance Teamm, Sunshine Dance Group, Cho Sun Hee Dance Team and Coffie Man.
