Actor-singer Aiza Seguerra is the new chairman of the National Youth Commission (NYC).
NYC Commissioner JP Peñol said Aiza will be focusing on LGBT and reproductive health issues, among other things, under his administration. Aiza will assume office starting Aug. 16. Meanwhile, Presidential Spokesperson Ernesto Abella announced that Aiza’s wife Liza Diño has been appointed chair of the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP). She will hold office for three years.
